Stephanie Irvine
Forest Kindergarten Teacher
Stephanie was born and raised in New Zealand where she spent most of her childhood exploring the forests, beaches and rocky shoreline. She graduated from Auckland University with a B.S. majoring in Physiology and Pharmacology, and spent over a decade in the corporate world. However, with the arrival of her two children, she became passionate about child development. She was especially drawn to a more holistic form of education that educated the whole child and that spent significant time in nature. Since moving to Massachusetts in 2008, Stephanie joined the Waldorf School at Moraine Farm (formerly the Cape Ann Waldorf School) assisting in the early childhood classes. For the past 8 years she was a lead nursery teacher. She earned a Certificate in Waldorf Early Childhood Teaching (Birth to Seven) from Sophia’s Hearth in Keene, NH, in 2021. In her spare time, Stephanie likes to be in nature whether skiing, kayaking, hiking in the woods or working in the garden.
